Goole Tigers under 10 orange team came through a tough World Cup group phase only to be rewarded with a tricky tie away to a strong Wheldrake team. The lads were superb and stormed through the semi final with a win, setting up a tasty final against our local rivals Snaith storm.
The final at West Park gave us home advantage and a good crowd were in attendance for the game.
Tigers were pressing from the off but didn’t get a breakthrough until the second quarter when a single goal scored by Connor was all they carried into the latter stages.
Some tidy passing and great teamwork produced 2 goals from Jack Brown and Oliwier in as many minutes during the 3rd quarter.
As a valiant Snaith side saw chances go begging the tigers held on for a deserved win.

Being part of Goole Town Tigers is like a second family. The U10 Blacks are a fantastic team whose players play with a smile on their face and show respect to their manager.
A mixture of results recently does not show the hard effort the lads put into football both in training and on match days. They have played some really immense football this half of the season leading them into trying the 9v9 format ready for next season. Playing 9v9 is proving to be a great step up for the lads who are truly enjoying the bigger pitch and starting to really get to grips with the offside rule.
They always show a willing and desire to compete to the very best of their abilities. Each player brings their own uniqueness to the team and each offers something different to the other. This team has a heart as big as a lion and they always stride to achieve everything possible.
The coach has managed to keep a core of players right from the start and added a few rough diamonds along the way which all show signs of getting better and better as they grow and mature in there footballing careers.
A willing determination is witnessed throughout by both players/parents who show up in to support their child/relative, always making it a friendly atmosphere on a match day whether it’s a home or away game.
Please help and continue to support this club and the other age groups as Goole Town Tigers JFC are the future of football both in this town and further.
Any players interested in joining please contact the club through the manager details lower on the web page or through their Facebook page.
